These Huntington homeowners needed more shelving for their overflowing book collection. The new custom bookcase addition was added on the adjacent wall, doubling their storage space. The new shelving unit was custom fitted to the height of the book collection, while taking up minimal floor space in this room. Wood was stained to match the color of the old book shelves.
This large bookshelf on the right had an extension made to match the existing shelf unit. It fits carefully around the window and radiator and was adjusted to look right around the walls and windows that were not square. The bookcase was custom designed to accommodate the books in the collection, with both tall and shorter sections.
