The staircase wall in the foyer had some flat panel wainscoting installed to dress up a plain wall in the main entrance to the home. The new wainscotting was designed to match the rest of the moulding in the foyer. This is a very popular feature and gives the stairwell a clean crisp look with interesting details. Wainscotting was created using standard stock mouldings made of pine, with poplar panels inset in the centers, and then painted to match the rest of the trim work.
We designed and installed a wood panel wall pattern to accent the blank wall space and enhance this foyer. The entrance to this Lloyd Neck home (north of Lloyd Harbor) now has a gleaming marble floor and elegant stairwell.
