The new deck offers easy access, as well as plenty of additional outdoor living space. The small builders staircase was replaced with a large family sized deck. Comfortable stairs lead from the house to the deck, and from the deck into the backyard.
This homeowner had a small wooden staircase off the back door that had no platform to stand on when entering or exiting the house. The new deck offers easy access, as well as plenty of additional outdoor living space. The deckboards are treated lumber and the railings are cedar.
New concrete post footings were added. Old back door staircase lacked a platform, making it dangerous to carry items in and out of the house.

The new platform on top of the deck makes it easier to get into or out of the french doors.
