These custom cabinets surround a fireplace mantle and hearth with lots of moulding details. The cabinets have glass shelves and accent lighting, along with custom storage for audio and video equipment. The customer chose fancy corbel brackets and fluted columns, and applied moulding details to enhance the new wall unit. The new mantle was installed over the black marble fireplace surround, which updated the stone mantle and brass insert.
This custom wall unit in Kings Park has 2 built in bookcases with glass shelves, accent lighting. The bottom cabinets are vented for the electronic equipment, which connects to the flat screen tv that mounts above the fireplace. The new woodwork and the marble surround and hearth were installed directly over the old fireplace stone.
