This home in Brightwaters had a roof that left the side door exposed to rain. The roof line on this house was changed to provide better weather protection. The new overhang blends seamlessly with the roofline and keeps rain off the entry. New soffits were installed for weather protection with added lighting. The old door was also replaced.
After project completed: The new overhang provides shelter over the door and includes new vinyl soffits with recessed lights. Roof framing was extended, and roof was shingled to match the existing garage roof.
Before Photo: The old overhang didn’t offer any protection from the rain coming off the garage roof to the right. Rain poured off the right side roof onto anybody attempting to enter the door.
